Mutus Liber is a ongoing series of enhanced monotypes is inspired by Jung’s explorations of alchemy, dream interpretation, and active imagination. Each work emerges from my own dreams and reflections, unfolding as a dialogue that teaches me—first of all—about myself. At the same time, they ask what embodied knowledge can look like alongside rational thought, not in opposition to it, but as its companion.
The title Mutus Liber—the “silent book”— honors the openness of meaning: viewers may be touched in ways that move beyond my own intentions or control. These works are offered as threads, weaving into the collective unconscious and the rich tapestry of knowledge that flows from our ancestors, our bodies, and the unseen.
All pages are 20 by 30cm, enhanced monotype, oil on paper.
