Short Bio:
Ria Vanden Eynde was born and raised in Leuven, Belgium and has been drawing and painting since childhood, After completing her studies in mathematics and applied ethics at the Catholic University of Leuven, and gaining certification as a gestalt counselor, she worked and published in all these fields. Eventually, she transitioned to painting full time from her home in Leuven. She attended classes (atelier) at the City's Academy of Arts SLAC. Her first exhibitions were group shows in New York and Los Angeles. She also had a solo show at the Brooklyn Cluster Gallery after a three month residency. That show was reviewed in Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art. She has published an essay about her work in WEAD (Women Eco Artists Dialogue) Magazine. She keeps studying and painting through online courses alongside different style artists, most notably with Zoey Frank, Catherine Kehoe, Susan Lichtman and Jennifer Pochinsky.
